The “Grand Lady of the Métis”: Dr. Anne Anderson’s mission to preserve the Cree language

Dr. Anne Anderson helped preserve nêhiyawêwin (the Cree language) and wrote a hugely important Cree-English dictionary—along with almost 100 other significant publications that taught a new generation about Indigenous language, culture, and history.
