I’m the author of The Melting Queen, a magic realist alternate history of Canada’s northernmost metropolis. I also write short stories, poems, and creative nonfiction. I’m currently working on two books and an obscene number of orphaned short stories.
The Melting Queen
My first novel was released on the First Day of Spring by NeWest Press. The Melting Queen is an ambivalent love song to my hometown: Edmonton, Alberta—an unsung city which longs to be “world class” but doesn’t quite know how to get there.
